Dr. Kessler obtained his medical degree and Ph.D. from the University Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany and is currently the Section Head of Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kessler is active in many other professional groups, including the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
