3. Didactic preparation of a surgery video
What resolution should I generally film with?

To ensure a high quality of your OP video, you should film at least in HD. If possible, filming in Full HD or 4K is recommended. However, an even higher resolution is not always useful due to the lack of space on the storage medium. Good colour scanning is more important than resolution. For example, it would be better to film with Full HD 4:2:2 10-bit than with 4K 4:2:0 8-bit. It is also explicitly recommended to work according to PAL standard with 25 frames per second.
